Recessed Light Medallion Installation — "The Two Minute Makeover"
 
    

"Before" 

 Time to replace this 
eyesore.
 


Unscrew the lightbulb.  Locate the 
springs which hold up the baffle 
and rim.
 


Push up and turn the springs to 
remove the baffle and rim.  If the
baffle and rim are one piece, you
must buy new baffles.

Deep set the light socket, by 
loosening the wing nut.
  Push down the socket 
and tighten the nut.  Adjust
 as needed.
 


Place the baffle through the medallion.
The baffle edge should fit the inner
rim of the medallion.  If the baffle
doesn't fit, you must buy a new baffle.
 


"Two Minutes After"
Carefully rehang the baffle and
medallion by pushing the spring 
ends in the top keyhole slots.
Replace the ugly bulb with an
attractive bulb.
