Architectural Wall Panels, Elegant Wall
Decor
Beaux-Artes
is pleased to introduce our line of decorative
Architectural Wall Panels. They are easy
to install, adjust to any size wall and
come pre-finished in your choice of over
30 finishes. Average installation time
per panel is about 45 minutes. If you
can't do it, most wallpaper hangers can.
These wall panels can be used to frame
faux finishes, stencils, mirrors, Venetian
plaster, wallpaper and murals. Our panels
sets are priced at $189 for our French
Renaissance, Classical, or Georgian styles.
The larger Louis XIV style panels range
from $219 to $299. Our new Neo-Classical
panels for framing 1/4" mirror or Masonite
are priced at $349. Each panel set comes
with 16 feet of molding plus four decorative
corners as well as an adhesive caulk tinted
to match the finish you've selected. We
supply an ample 16 feet of molding so
that the panels adjust to practically
any size wall. Unlike other panels available,
our decorative corners have notches in
their backs allowing the molding to slip
behind to hide unsightly seams. We've
taken the labor cost out of wall panel
installation. Visit

French Renaissance Panels
The French Renaissance Panel sets shown
above are all installed around our custom
hand painted canvases. The hand painted
canvases were painted in our studio and
then installed like wallpaper. The canvases
were designed to match the size, color
palette and theme selected by the homeowner.
They are a combination of a faux finish
and a stencil. After the canvases were
attached to the wall with wallpaper paste,
the molding and decorative corners of
the French Renaissance wall panel set
were installed over the edge of the canvas.
This same process could have been done
with wallpaper or simply over a faux finish.
It is worth noting that with the high
price of some expensive wallpaper, using
less wallpaper inside our wall panel sets
may actually reduce the overall project
cost, while actually increasing the wow
factor. Using smaller pieces of wallpaper
set in our wall panels also avoids wallpaper
seams. More

Louis XIV Architectural Wall Panels
The elegance of our Louis XIV Panel sets
looks beautiful in foyers, bedrooms, living
rooms and even closets such as the one
shown above left, where the ornament has
been put on top of the molding framing
the mirror. A space is transformed when
multiple panels are installed in series,
as shown in the middle photograph. Adding
architectural ornament increases the value
of your home. Classical touches such as
these never go out of style. Historical
homes embellished with classical ornament
are repeatedly used as a background for
contemporary fashions and modern furnishings
in advertising, establishing the principle
that classical and modern styles can be
used together. Beaux-Artes has made it
affordable to bring that kind of beauty
into any space with re-engineered wall
panel sets that are quick and easy to
install.

Classical Wall Panels
Our Classical wall panels, having the
least amount of carving, are perfect for
a more tailored decor. We have even used
them on flat panel doors to create the
look of hand-carved panels. Use your imagination.
The Classical panels in the niches shown
above were a perfect solution for the
client who spent years contemplating how
to decorate the four niches in the central
hallway. The hand-painted canvases with
a gold background compliment the gold
leaf in the entrance foyer, while the
oriental style magnolias, cherry blossoms,
bamboo and birds compliment nearby antique
porcelain vases.

More Architectural Wall Panels
Another interesting use of our Architectural
Wall Panels is on small ceilings. They
are not big enough to be effective on
large ceilings but they are perfect for
small ceilings such as bathrooms, inside
coffers, or hallways, as seen in the above
left photograph. That same photograph
shows one of our Italian Renaissance HVAC
Grilles and our Victorian Recessed Light
Medallion. The panel on the right is our
Neo-Classical panel made to fit around
a 1/4" sheet of Masonite or mirror. In
this case the Masonite has Venetian Plaster
applied on it. Both the decorative shell
corners and the surrounding molding have
a groove in the edge so that it neatly
covers the edge of the Masonite or mirror
without any exposed seams.

Spanish Empire Wainscoting Panel Tops
Our Spanish Empire Panel tops are different
from our Architectural wall panels. They
require a 3/4" wood or MDF horizontal
and vertical frame around them, as found
in a dado below the chair rail. The size
of these panel tops is fixed at 12-1/4".
To make a series of panel tops fit a particular
wall length, you must vary the width of
the vertical pieces. We have recently
installed a very tall dado with these
tops, which looks great. In another project
we used two Spanish Empire pieces - one
top and one bottom - on a kitchen center
isle, which looks fabulous. Consider using
a Spanish Empire dado rather than the
over used carpenter boxes in your front
foyer.
